Hunter-gatherers and wild horses

In America, I heard a Native American tale of a girl who rode on rainbow horses. I returned back to Essex where I grew up to my old friends ,in search of the girl and the horses. I was looking for the hunter-gatherer that lies sleeping in the suburbs. I slung up raw sets, painted up wild horses, stampeding buffaloes and sunsets, and put them up in living rooms, church basements and village halls. The dresses were made from torn up bits of silk cut up and tied on.

It's different this chapter but it's something about knowing your own story before you can tell others.
